What began in 1986 as a small manufactory, we now carry on as a family business in its third phase. Our philosophy: nature is always simple.
The Bunz brand has been around since the seventies. The Klein family has run it for fifteen years — with the same standard everything started with: species-appropriate food, rooted in the region, no frills.

Regional
Our raw materials come exclusively from farms in southern Germany. We know the suppliers personally, see their animals, see the barns. No long supply chains, no anonymous wholesalers — just direct routes between the farm and our shop in Weilimdorf.
Homemade
Every portion is made in Bad Buchau — packed by hand, not pushed down a machine line. That is slower and less efficient, but we know what is in every pack, and we produce carbon-neutrally. No preservatives, no fillers.
Family business
Petra and Sophie are in the shop every day, while Dietmar looks after production behind the scenes. We give advice without wagging a finger — whether you have been feeding BARF for years or are only just thinking about switching. Regular evening talks go deeper into what you want to know, without preaching.
